
The McHenry County Bar Association is a professional organization of attorneys, judges and paralegals who are engaged in private practice, government service, corporate employment, and the judiciary. Since 1915, the McHenry County Bar Association has provided leadership in advancing the professional interests of its members, while improving legal services in the community.

The mission as stated in the McHenry County Bar Association Bylaws reads as follows:
"to promote the common interest of the members of the bar;
to improve through self-education and education of the public,
the standing of the legal profession in the community
and to better secure equal justice under law to which all citizens are entitled."
